Community Activities with ABC Strath Haven

Luminaria: 

For the past five years, the streets of Swarthmore have been lit up on New Year’s night by luminaria, assembled by large teams of volunteers and sold to benefit ABC Strath Haven.   Last year we raised a record $15,000.  By purchasing and lighting these luminaria, we make the town beautiful and at the same time show our support for our ABC scholars.

Fall Concert was held on: 

November 5th, 4-6 pm

Swarthmore College, Lang Concert Hall

Each fall, the ABC Program presents a community concert at Swarthmore College.  Proceeds from ticket sales support ABC ongoing activities.  Performers in past years have included local musicians, the Silvertones vocal group from Strath Haven High School, and ABC students themselves.

Golf Tournament:

The golf tournament is an annual event held at the historic west course of the Merion Golf Club noted for its Dunes Grass and Scotch Broom. The tee off is usually around noon followed by a dinner at the County Club.   Fore!
